In what way does this help Wings. We do not have a cap problem, we are not getting back anything like a pick or a prospect. This makes zero sense from a Wings perspective and alot of sense from a Leafs perspective. No Thanks.

It gives a team with an extremely weak d core a 25 year old right handed d that can play 23 mins a game for a 35 year old Ufa goaltender who has been below league average in save% in 6 of the last 7 years. You aren't getting a premium for Howard man.

I still don't see why Detroit is doing this. The upgrade of Ceci over biega isn't worth the downgrade of Howard to Hutchinson.

There is just not a reason to do this for them. Add some future value and sure. Add a 3rd and a decent prospect new story

Why would Detroit give up Howard to rent 2 mediocre players? Neither will resign in Detroit plus I'd take Howard over Hutchinson a 29 year old goalie who is still bouncing between the AHL and NHL. The only thing Ceci would do is take a roster spot from a prospect.

If Howard is bad why do you want him?
