Switch Gudbranson for Bjugstad. That's what Gudbranson should bring, and they have effectively the same cap hit. You now have a much stronger team. Put Pettersson and Marino on their proper sides and promote someone from WBS to play #3LD. Then You don't have to acquire Jordie Benn, saving you $1MM (although you still have to move Rust out). Johnson can then be bought out for that, and you can keep Hallander and the second. Try it.

You could re-sign Riikola for much cheaper than acquiring Benn to play 3 LD. I expect Addison to be ready next year to take on at least the 3 RD spot on an ELC. So I agree to trade Guddy instead of Bjugs there.
Also POJ should be ready too if you don’t want to re-sign Riikola
