Kapanen isn't a 1st line caliber forward, more of a solid 3rd line or decent 2nd line winger. I think you can get more out of that trade for Larsson though

Oh yeah? Explain, with supporting evidence, why Larsson is valuable.

I have been asking for this information for a year an here and the best answer anyone has given me is that he hits a lot. Offensively he's not good. He doesn't move the puck well, his possession numbers are not very good and when he's been asked to play against top competition (last season when Klefbom was hurt) he was completely outmatched. So why is he worth so much? Apparently he worth more than a 23 year old winger with a tonne of offensive upside. Why? Because he was trade for Hall once upon a time?

No Larsson is almost a cap dump. He's an average player who probably makes too much money. He's a better skating Gudbranson.

Whether you are correct or not, you are entitled to your opinion. However, statements like this one simply make you look foolish and undermine your attempts to build a case in support of your position.

Someone said he's a #4 who's been asked to be a #2. That is a fair assessment.
