Finally a realistic Leafs fan as existing Toronto team has ZERO chance to win Cup .. like the trades above to beef D but still need a gritty 3th/4th line to compete with Caps and Bs ...

Columbus declines because they can't guarantee Barrie doesn't walk and they loose their 1C for another RW (which they have like 7 of).

NJ and Toronto both decline, Gusev has more offensive potential and Toronto cant afford to loose Johnsson's grit

Calgary easily declines. trading a top 4 LD on a great long contract for 2 pending UFA's is plain stupid

All three teams reject lol ... don't overvalue your own players... If anything you should undervalue them and let people say "easily accepted" and then change it a little till its fair

Trading away Muzzin, your best defensive defenseman isn't going to win you a cup and these trades are very unrealistic. Toronto won't win a cup while they are handing out millions of dollars like candy to their players. I'm going to say it'll be another 10-20 years before the Leafs win a cup, sorry.

Note: My LA Kings will probably win another cup before the Leafs do...

Realistic Leafs fan defined that they know they need to change roster and become less top heavy and D focused to actually see May .. no opine on trade pieces but the need to do some fairly major

No, cbj, NJ and the flames all laugh. Muzzin is better then hanafin but he has term, the rest are brutal
