Just curios what would you have thought about a trade of Perreault, and Seth Griffith for Gudbranson and Aston-Reese. It would have saved the Pens $275,000 in cap space and it would have gotten them a 3rd line center and a star AHL and Fourth line NHL Player while the jets would have goten a RHD and bottom 6 depth. Thoughts?

How do we need defense... We had NINE D men before the Guddy trade, we also have Trotman in the AHL who can fill in in a pinch...

wilson is a goon that can score 20 goals and that puts him in a mid 6 winger position on most teams. But lets be honest, he's lost his balls since signing that contract and his usefulness is declining.
That's why they have to bring in players like Stephenson now. Because Tom simply isn't going to lose his pay check now that he has it.
He's not worth 5+ million a year. You can keep that. Let me know when his cap hit is in the 3-4 million range where it should be.

You mean Gudas ? And he’s a top 6 forward who averages .6 ppg since signing. He’s good for 40-50 points and tip 10 in hits. Guy can play 5v4 5v5 4v5. I’ll take him at his current cap hit. He’s one of a kind type player.
