I could see him getting mad over the cap issues. Leafs take Ryan to even out the cap and this works both ways. Flames have a log jam at LW.

I don't think they would. I think if this actually happened. Calgary would add Ryan to the trade to make the cap work. I think Marner is the better player but there are arguments to suggest its a pretty even move for both teams. Calgary gets a terrific play maker that could help spur their offence and PP and TO gets a bigger winger who loves getting under other teams skin and has more finish than Marner. I didn't think it would be a problem but TO I think could use some more finish from their wingers. Right now it seems that only Matthews and Tavares have the ability to score. Well and I guess Spezza of all people lol.

I'd be down for that trade! Tkachuk would look great in white and blue and would bring much needed intangibles to our team??
