I think any player thats had a slow start is going to get a chance to be re-evaluated under Keefe

the leafs laugh, they dont want/need either of them. risto isnt even a replacement level player

I don't want anything to do with Ristolainen or his cap hit. I do not see him as a net positive for this team.

Risto is at 3.7 GAR and .6 WAR which would make him Torontos 3rd best Dman (#1 RHD) in those catagories, which would put him at 2nd pair D which is what Risto is. Still i dont believe Toronto does this as I stated before, I also dont see Buffalo doing it

Leafs say no all day. Justin Holl 3.1 gar 0.5 war 650k. Risto is not the Dman we are looking for. If we will base value on gar/war alone we should be able to get Pesce for a 5th...

Ive been saying both teams pass. I only brought up GAR and WAR cause that kid said Risto wasnt above replacement which he clearly is. People can have their opinion of him, but i hate when people make up stats to fit their hate train bandwagon narrative

I think he had potential but has started to prove to not be reliable in his own end. Not the type of Dman Toronto needs. I think if he is paired with a defensive Dman on a team that needs the type of Dman to join the rush then he is a good fit.

I fail to see why sabres pass this up. Kerfoot has Ben great. Maybe not showing on the stats as well as his play has Ben. He is fast and physical and I think most people know what kappy brings. I figured this is exactly what buffalo could use in their top 6 and have a surplus of rhd.

I dont think Buffalo wants to move Risto right now. He and Jokiharju have been their best dmen on a pretty decent d core. The liability in his own end is just not true. A lot of the issues have been on Hutton in their own end. And when Ullmarks in, they lack scoring, high chance shots, and offensive pressure to support him. I wouldnt blame Risto for half the things hes accused of. Plus im also factoring in that Toronto is an in divison rival
