WHAT? MORE THAN THAT? That itself is a theft that should be punished.

If that's the Russian goalie prospect in the up coming draft, he is not needed. The Kings have Petersen which could be a starter right now. He will be a Martin Jones x2.

Jones isnt good though. Petersen might be capable but after petersen theres nobody else. they need a goalie prospect more than a winger.

Jones was good and I mean his style, very technical. Kings need a winger like Lafreniere(hopefully generational) and a defenseman. Goaltending can wait. Kings are fine with Petersen and Campbell for the next few years. Petersen will be a top notch starter just wait.

they have so many you guys/prospect pool guys... iafallo, kempe, lizotte, porkhorkin, amadio, toffoli, grundstrom, kupari, vilardi, thomas, anderson-dolan, bjornfoot, clague, durzi, kaliyev, turcotte. they just need the goalie for when all these guys are in the league together.

You can't just put guys on LTIR that are not injured, those contracts will not just disappear. You're still cap compliant with them, but it might make sense to try and move them and retain salary. That Quick deal is starting to look rough though.

Yeah, Petersen.
Most of those guys like Iafallo, Kempe, Lizotte, Prokhorkin, Amadio, and Grundstrom are bottom 6 players. Toffoli won't be resigned. We don't need another goalie right now.

see kempe, lizotte, prokhorkin, amadio, and grundstrom are all so young i wouldnt rule out them developing into potentially top 6 players.

Ahh, okay. Usually though you would show how that is going to happen, either trade or buyout or whatever.

Because I guarantee the Quick contract will cost you to get out of.

Kaliyev and Kupari are still a few years out and there's no certainty they will turn into anything. Kaliyev will most likely. Kupari is also projected to be a bottom 6 player. Laf is an incredible upgrade over Kupari. If the Kings get the 1st overall, do you really think there is a chance in hell they pass on Lafreniere. Or pass on him and draft that goalie like you are suggesting? lol

no but i also dont think kings get the 1st overall pick. Which is why is said askarov. I have the kings with like the 4th/5th pick this year.

prokhorkin and grundstrom defintely could be top 6. Kempe needs to put the puck in the net more if he ever wants to escape the 3rd line. I like kempes skill but man its frustrating to watch him not score consistently (besides when he plays montreal lol)
