Probably would need more then that for Jenner and Savard. Savard next year for Johansson, 1 for 1 sure, but Jenner is a big focus in the locker room with the team and is likely to be the captain in 2 years when Folingo leaves.

Sorry the "eight year rule" applies the the team that owns the player duration the season. Leafs obviously don't have cap for a big UFA without other moves.

He makes 1M a year and he is 36 I believe. Boyle took a pay cut and signed with Florida. Kinda of silly think he wouldn’t consider signing with the Leafs for 700k. He has always been solid there’s nothing significant about this season for him compared to others. He’s always been a magical penalty killer. Who knows. That was my suggestion.
