I’d say from the pens maybe McCann-. As in Mayfield+ for McCann. Problem is D injuries on the isles and forward injuries on the pens won’t allow that to happen

He's not being moved to Pittsburgh, so there's that.

I think we can move him with Komarov to get some cap space in the off-season.

seeing how pelech just got injured and is out for the season, ide say they arent looking to move defensemen at this time.

Why wait? We'd happily give you Jacob Larsson for Mayfield and take Komarov off your hands right now, which would also help some with your Adam Pelech injury problem and give you a little TDL cap space.

If Mayfield is moved it will not be until the off-season as Pelech is now out for the year.

A lot more now that Pelech is hurt.

I'd personally be more interested in like a top-9 scoring forward in a hockey trade of sorts. Someone suggested RIchard Panik (who's having an awful year) so I'd probably want someone who can play that kind of role

I could even be talked into adding Daniel Sprong to that deal . . . on the grounds that Mayfield is worth more than Larsson, but Sprong is worth more than Komarov plus the cap relief from Komarov.

Mayfield has been good and we might as well keep him unless we can get an even better replacement right now (i.e. Chris Tanev).

I always thought Mayfield and Komarov for Ritchie made sense in the off-season. Ducks get a top-4 RHD and a Ritchie substitute, Isles get a young version of Matt Martin to replace on the fourth line.
