Not crazy, but not altogether sane either.

You won't need to "pay" to get rid of Ceci as he's a UFA at the end of the year. There are lots of playoff teams that would appreciate getting some added depth.

Your conditions on the Barrie trade are ridiculous,
just a bit greedy I'd say, winning a round isn't enough to turn a 2nd into a 1st.

barrie should be worth a first to start with. If Shatinkirk and Yandle both got first+ a few years ago at TDL, barrie should be worth that as well

He isn't having a very good season and the market has changed significantly since then.

For what Barrie isn't good at, he does far more good than Bad. Removing him and having no puck movers on the right is not a good idea.

I really think Josh Manson would fit perfectly on this Leafs team and in my opion the Leafs max offer would be close to this. The question is would Anh accept? At this point/offer i think they keep him. With that being said he is exactly what the Leafs are looking for in skill set, contract value, term and age. 28 years old is no spring chicken to start a rebuild with

Nah, that Ceci trade is perfect. Playoff bound teams don't want to waste what little cap space they have by taking on Ceci who MIGHT play on their bottom pairing. Toronto needs the cap space - give that **** away.

Bad trades when two RHD who play forty minutes are traded and only one Dman is returned in the trade. With this post, the Leafs have 9m in cap space. Keep a RHD veteran. Crazy to insert Liljegren in your top six at this stage and just hope he good enough right now.
