So silly. Alex Newhook is not going anywhere! Colorado has one of, if not the best, prospect system in the league. There are a ton of other things they could throw at Minnesota if they really wanted to complete this deal, which I doubt they would anyway.

I would never place Khovanov on 4th line, too much skill not a lot of physical.
I like where you are going with the trade I don't know if Chicago would make that deal.
Wild have Khovanov and Beckman tearing up the WHL and QMJHL respectively. I think both of them could push for a spot next year, Khovanov being more likely to make it than Beckman. To me they both look like top 6 guys. So at this point if Wild are looking for a center they need to be sure the guy they get is better than either of those 2 guys and also be careful not to over pay at the expense of another position.

Yeah I think Khovanov would be in the top 9 or would go to the AHL. Just threw him in there to show he's probably fighting for a spot.

Chicago will be fighting the cap next year, so with Toews and Dach as the expected top centers, they might let go of Strome for a nice package of cost controlled players.

Chicago would be interested in this, although we do not need bottom 6 guys like Greenway. Something else comes back with Newhook.

Not that Greenway has ever played like a top 6 guy in the NHL but I'm told that's his potential. That said I don't want him either.

I doubt Sakic would trade Newhook. I'm sure he'd be interested in Zucker but I imagine the price would be a 1st + Jost/Kaut + 3rd or something along those lines

When Greenway is on his game, I think he absolutely has the talent to be a top 6 guy. The problem is he's hardly ever "on his game" for a full game (usually it's for about a shift or two a game) and he really lacks the meanness and consistency to fully unlock his potential (at least in my opinion).

I LOVED Newhook at the draft (I was hoping we'd draft him at 11 to be honest) but I doubt Sakic trades him, even for Zucker. If we hypothetically traded him, I'd just keep him instead of flipping him.

Oh no, other fans are realizing he's not good too! We gotta move him sooner rather than later.
