Same thing I say whenever I see a Manson to TOR trade proposal without Liljegren +, which is pretty much all of them.

IMO Manson is unrealistic target for Leafs because they want to ADD a long term defenseman, not change the long term defenseman. What would your reaction be if the deal happens and Barrie with extension is included instead of Liljegren+ (which Leafs wouldnt do)?

Not even close, No way is Bob Murray trading Josh Manson without at least Timothy Liljegren coming the other way, Just not happening. If Anaheim is dealing their best RD man then they will want another one heading back their way as they're short at RD.

I’d laugh. Why do TOR fans think we’d want their bad players? You can’t just package up out-of-favour assets and flip them for significant upgrades.

“How would you feel if we traded Ritchie + extension for Nylander? We won’t do Zegras + because we don’t want to sacrifice our future or give up anything that may actually make our team worse now.” Can you not see how nonsensical that is?

If TOR won’t do Liljegren + than you can forget getting Manson.
