Dubas laughs and hangs up if that's the ask. Lol
I doubt that. More like he takes it in two seconds.

Tyson Barrie wants $8 million per year for 7 years or so, No way Bob Murray is taking Barrie in any deal for Josh Manson. Anything short of Timothy Liljegren going the other way to Anaheim.
I don't think Barrie is a fit in this deal, but Toronto is not going to move Liljegren. He's too important to them and they have invested so much in him. So Anaheim fans can feel that way, but it's unlikely to happen. The reality is, with how noncompetitive Anaheim is right now, Manson is likely being moved in the next 12 months. His value is highest now. The Ducks need to think about what kind of package he can fetch and maybe they flip some of those assets later on. Almost all trade values on here are wrong because fans tend to overvalue their own players. GM's don't, they understand the business and what assets can do for you.
Honestly I think Toronto and Colorado being competitive so fast after "tanking" has skewed everyone's perception of how fast rebuilds happen. Teams like Ottawa and New York are closer to being finished their rebuilds then Anaheim is, who kind of seems to straddling the line of, "not good enough to win, not bad enough to truly rebuild." Anaheim needs futures and assets, Josh Manson is neither. Therefore, no matter how great a player he is, they should at least look at dealing him. Same with Kase, Rakell, Lindholm and anybody else who can get them what they need.
