I like the ideas, but why do we have package a 2nd with Heinen? Galchenyuk isn't exactly performing this year. I think for Kreider the Rangers would need the 2020 first rd pick.

I could live with Rangers deal, don’t like it though. And they’d want 20 not 21.

Yeah - not sold, but if he can revert back to a 30 goal guy for a stretch run, might be worth a flyer. I assume he's played with Bjork at some point in their lives too. If he's motivated, he's decent and a good final 20 games and playoff could get him another contract.

I know it's deep draft, but Bruins are likely 25th or worse pick. Next year could be different story... Honestly whichever they would prefer.

It's dumb, but potential. They are essentially the same player now, but I don't see a world where Heinen nets 30. Ever. Also the Salary retention.

I’d rather add Toffoli for half the cost.

Think there is a better chance NYR signs Kreider rather than trade him.
