If you put McDavid on LTIR he is automatically out 10 games and/or 24 days.

Not sure if that would change your thought. But is LTIR worth those 3 extra games (Ana/VGK/WPG)

I think that you can survive 10 games without McDavid. I've looked at the schedule and at least 5 are against bad teams -- including my two patsies. As long as you get at least 8 points the rest of the month, you should be okay. Besides, you can't trade away homeboy Benson.

He may still be okay if he's with Nuge and Yamamoto, but what if they put Draisaitl in McDavid's spot? Or move nuge to centre Archibald and Kassian? Plus without McDavid is the pp going to be as good?

If they go 500 with McDavid out of the lineup I will be surprised and I'll admit Draisaitl is elite, but I don't think it's going to happen. It wouldn't surprise me if Edmonton collapses. They have no depth

Montreal will give you one Tomas Tatar, it will only cost you Evan Bouchard....the standings are very tight 3 weeks without McJesus could mean no playoffs again for the Oilers .
