There is a way better chance Subban rebounds by 50% than Guddy ever being a hockey player

Everyone likes to dump on Gudbranson but what they don’t realize is that he’s been solid as a duck.

I don't get the hate for Guddy...he has been solid since coming to Anaheim and playing with Lindholm. I still would not trade for Subban even at a discount. He is a distraction off the ice and isn't as good as people hype him up to be.

How is he a distraction off the ice? I would take Subban in a second if he wasn't making so much money and/or didn't have as much term left on his deal. But he's a consummate professional and one of the more charitable players in the entire league. Unless being enthusiastic and black are "distractions". His play on the ice absolutely warrants staying away from him but I couldn't disagree more about him off the ice.

Gudbranson is a fine d-man and really helped stabilize this group. And he doesn't even make that much money (he's even cheaper next year) not to mention we basically got him for free. Hell, I'd be wilingl to re-sign after next year.

One deal I dont like is the Buffalo deal. Only way we do that is we are guaranteed the Leafs trade. And knowing the leafs, that is a steep price for Manson. But I do like it....I was hoping the Ducks got Miller in the offseason. Just sad to see him not working out in Buffalo. We could really use the shot on the RD side of the PP. Resigning Deangelo is going to be a pretty penny, but I like his game a lot.
