ANA Fans what does it take to get Manson

Description

Wondering what Anaheim fans think of this, is this even realistic? If not, what needs to be a main piece for Anaheim to consider doing it? (I think if you're talking true untouchables from WSH's standpoint it's just McMichael).

Leason still has the potential to be a decent middle 6 guy, big body with a good nose for the net. Has not been all that great in Hershey, however, and it seems as though McLellan has Protas above Leason in the depth charts now.
Vanecek has been terrific in the AHL, looks like he has legit starter potential in him.

Manson is worth more to us then he'd ever get in a trade. With that said, I don't think WSH has the assets to acquire him. We'd need a legit RHD with top 4 upside + 1st + probably.

Yeah, I figured as much. The 1st, Leason, and Vanecek probably isn't far off of what he's actually worth, but it's moreso far from what Murray would move him for. I wonder if a 1st and Alexeyev would be enough value for Murray to at least let the phone call last more than a minute..

Yeah. I'd say he's worth a mid-1st right now, but 1st + a couple former 2nd rounders sounds about right (ignoring needs - Leason and Vanecek don't really address any need for us). The problem with Alexeyev is he's LH, same is true for Johansen, and we really need a RHD.

Your trade is right on value and Anaheim would take it if the other three guys on our right side were named Pulock, Dobson and Wilde. Unfortunately, they're named Gudbranson, UFA Holzer and Axel Andersson.
