you robbed 3. Most on earth one is the CAR deal. But that type of salary retention never happens... so...

Colorado GM Joe Sakic literally just said that Timmins, Newhook, Byram are all untouchable. So that first deal can't happen.
As for the Carolina deal, their offer was Bean + 1st, so adding a 2nd and replacing Bean with Fleury is probably also be unrealistic.

It happened with Tatar and Backes recently. Montreal has the cap to retain salary like that in order to get a better return.
