Description

Call bellows back up! The kid can’t stop scoring goals. 7 goals in his last 9 games and 2 tonight against the Marlies.

Trotz would rather play “predictable” players even if they’re predictably bad instead of young talent. Bellows was solid in his 8 games with the isles, No reason not to call him up. He can help 5 v 5 and especially the powerplay with his elite shot.

Andrew Ladd is better, I dont know why in the shootout he sent Eberle-Barzal-Ladd, why not Ladd-Boychuck-Greene ?

Ladd is better than who? I sh*t on Andrew Ladd a lot, but he’s been really good the last 2 games. I don’t know how he’s been effective with all his injuries, but it’s good to see , I guess.

He’s been successful during shootouts in the past, I personally would’ve went with Nelson or beauvillier, but I didn’t hate Ladd going 3rd.

Lmao when he was up with team a few weeks ago, the team was better. When he was on the ice, the islanders generated more high danger chances.

Liljeren sure looked good in his one 17 second shift in the 2nd period last week before he was benched by Keefe 😂 -

Your acting like Bellows is "the best" when he goes on a run. David Clarkson scored a 30 goal season and then had 6 then next season

Who said bellows is the best? I have him on the 3rd line. Bellows likely projects as a 15-20 goal scoring middle 6 winger who can contribute on the powerplay. The kid has scored 22 goals in the last 33 games in the AHL. That is deserving of a callup.

Bring up Bellows AND Wahlstrom. Both have looked good (though Bellows has looked better). And I'd bet either would generate more offense than Dal Colle. He hasn't looked good this season.

Trotz would rather play komarov, who is “predictable”. It is very odd that they haven’t called up bellows. He’s not that young, he was drafted 4 years ago. They have to give him an extended look and not shelter him with 4th line players
