Hornqvist is a really good player. Have you watched him play? Teams hate to play against him cuz of how aggressive he is. Best net front guy in the league. Johnson is not really a good defenseman anymore but he will be fine in a third pair role as long as he as a mobile partner, which Jokiharu is.

That’s your opinion. A hardworking sandpaper winger, a top prospect, a 1st, 2nd & decent third pairing defenseman is a significant offer.

By moving Marner, I made it possible to generate the cap space to bring Gudas, a great shutdown defenseman, Jokiharju, a great 2 way guy & Maroon, an excellent defensive Forward. Maroon-Kerfoot-Engvall gives you a legit checking & shutdown line. How is this team not better than the current one that is struggling to make the playoffs? It’s way more balanced.
