Murry.'s save percentage is 49 out of 55 goalies to play in the league. Even the zamboni driver has better stats than him. When did his value get that high?

I'm not sure Detroit does this. With Detroit being awful and Bjugstad having only 1 season left on his contract would he stay in Detroit? On the other hand he is a right hand shot and the only right shot currently on the Wings is Glendening and he is a defensive specialist.

The question is can he play center full time? Detroit could use a center but they don't need any more wingers.

Strome has tremendous value, imo. His numbers are down from last season, which will actually make him more affordable this summer. Murray is certainly not worth a 23 year old #2 Center with ppg potential. You just cant get #2 Centers cheap. Murray will probably not be a member of the Pens next season though. I def. agree with you there.

The question isn't can he play center full time it's can he play at all full time. He's always hurt. If you put him on Detroits Blue line he'd fit right in.

he logic here is so flawed.
Strome as a bad year and has great potential.
A 2x cup winning goalie has a bad year....he's worthless.
He's 25 not 35. He's just hitting his peak years as a goalie. On top of it, he had JJ as his 1LD for 60% of games last year. FFS cut him a break.

Strome is not what Pens need. Slow, not very good at defensively and too expensive.

    Thank you.
I didn’t have to say it this time.
    Let’s end the strome craze.

BTW DeMelo will get more than twice that.

If you get him and he plays OK we could always flip him at the deadline maybe make a profit.

By that time you have to assume Veleno or Rasmussen would be ready to step in.
