He is not full of dumpster fires, he IS dumpster fires, in a train wreck, because without the puck he is absolutely useless and cannot catch anyone and he moves laterally at a speed that wouldnt worry a snail. Even if he's initially positioned correctly because of his brain, his body cannot compensate for any movement at all, any league average skater turns him into a pylon simply by changing the angle or turning. Holding your own in the corner is only as good as long as the puck is in the corner, and he's not fast or agile enough to hem anyone into a corner who isnt already hemmed in by a forward.
He is proof positive just how important even a tiny bit of skating is worth in today's NHL.
