Trades
MTL
  1. 2020 1st round pick (DET)
Additional Details:
1st overall. We get the best quebecer prospects since Lecavalier.
DET
  1. Romanov, Alexander
  2. Domi, Max
  3. 2020 1st round pick (MTL)
  4. 2020 2nd round pick (CHI)
  5. 2020 2nd round pick (STL)
  6. 2021 1st round pick (MTL)
Additional Details:
+ Norlinder

Detroit drops 7 spot but can still draft a high end offensive talent a this position and gets another 1st rounder next year + 2x 2nd round pick in a deep draft. Romanov and Norlinder would more than likely fix the obvious LHD problem for years to come in rock city. One seems like a sure stud, the other one is more of a project (a very good one tho). Max Domi can solidify the top 6. He can be replaced by Caufield in the trade if Domi isnt interesting for DET.

Dont bother the lines I didnt do it.

Detroit still says hell no, We need an elite franchise player that Alexis Lafreniere will be. You can't turn down a potential 90 to 100 point per season LW. Detroit needs a franchise player much worse then Montreal. If we get the #1 pick we're keeping it it's that simple.

Totally agree! Like i said in the description, both teams are better of keeping what's in the trade. What is your opinion about value tho?

I think that would be bad for both teams to accept. Raw value its a good trade, but I think that it's better that they hold on to what they have.

Add Caufield take out Domi, And it might be somewhat better. Detroit has no use for Domi Veleno and Lafreniere had great chemistry at the worlds Lafreniere-Veleno-Zadina down the road could be pretty lethal that gives Detroit at least 2 quality top lines.

I agree I don't think it happens but If you switched Domi with Caufield you are getting as about as close as it could get from Detroit's pov.

Take a look back before Hughes or Kakko were drafted would they still draw as much as what was offered before they drafted? At least on this site I've seen Dahlin in trades done by Buffalo fans.
