Tampa also does not want to move Johnson, as despite the slight decrease this year he is still over .6 ppg average and had 29 goals last year. He was also 2nd in ES goal scoring on Tampa last year. He may have to be moved via a cbo or if he waives his ntc, but pretty sure Gourde goes first. Tampa is certainly not looking to give him away for scraps. His contract is decent and he's 29 turning 30, not 35 turning 36. He's far from a cap dump. He likely either stays with Tampa one more year and then is lost in the exp draft, or he waives the ntc and gets moved somewhere he wants to play if a deal can be reached. In any case, Tampa wouldn't make the trade as they want to win now. The picks mean little for a contending team in the heart of their window, Roslovic and Copp are at best a slight upgrade to some guys Tampa already have ready to go or playing in the bottom 6. Heinola is a great prospect that Tampa would likely want in the future, but how much of an impact
he'd have in the next year or two is debatable. The value isn't necessarily the issue with the trade, in fact Tampa is likely getting a pck and/or player too much, but the fit isn't there for where Tampa is right now, which is why JBB would never do it.
