Description
These are only guys that would probably make the HOF like if the league shut down for good RIGHT NOW
Guys like Mcdavid, MacKinnon, Pasta, Kucherov, Makar, Eichel, Matthews, Drai etc etc etc... they could probably be HOFers at some point, but still too young and wayyyy to many of them to count that as a category
Guys like Kessel, Justin Williams (Mr. Playoffs himself), Marchand, ROR, Boumiester and even Corey Crawford are all incredible and were awesome on their teams, and will have their numbers retired by some team, but not HOFers

Be respectful here, I will IGNORE any comments that are just plain rude or dumb

Oshie is a bit of a take, but I sort of like it. He was a really good two way forward in Saint Louis and I’m a little surprised he’s still as good as he is. Hard to believe he was drafted in 2005.

Oof Oshie isn't making the HOF man. I don't think Patch makes it.

Time flies doesn't it?I mean I'm only 18 years old but I remember around 2010 everyone was saying that Fleury was going to be a beast for years to come and 10 years later his decline has started and we are even starting to talk about the possibility that if a CBO is offered to every team Vegas could use their CBO on Fleury to keep Lehner who's 28

Patch and oshie i agree with.

But if Suter and Marleau dont make it, there is a 0% chance Letang does. However, letang can make it if those two stay.

Marleau makes it. His longevity has been extraordinary. He's been a top line winger until 37 year old and has been a reliable top 6 forward for 2 seasons after that.

As for Suter, he DEFINITELY makes it. The guy shows no major signs of regression at 35 years old, he's still a beast at defending and even his offense is still great. Plus, Suter>Letang

Oshie, pacioretty, quick and giroux dont make it.

Guys like Kopitar, Toews, Giroux, Stamkos and Rinne shouldn't make it. Imo they're all very good players but not hall of fame worthy.

Hall of fame voting is a joke anyways

Marchand over Patch at least in the LW convo.

Hockey Hall not NHL, so:
* BM Hardware = Mem Cup, 2 x WJ Gold, World Champ Gold, Word Cup Gold and SC Win (2 SCF L's)...

Thats why i did it like this. No "meh Kessel makes it" or "waaa Mcdavid is a god he makes it", this is just who makes it for real.

Oshies and Patch I agree with. Stammer sure and Rihne sure.

But if you think Quick, Toews or Kopitar dont, right now, you gotta reconsider

In 2008 his only finals appearance he did lead the team is playoff scoring but it was still Lidstrom's team which is why I asked.

As for Forwards:
0% for Patch and Oshie.
I also personally wouldn’t put Hossa, Giroux, Getzlaf, and Marleau but there are arguments to be made for their HOF case so it’s possible. I’d also throw Tavares into that group. Not saying they deserve it, but there’s arguments to be made.

As for D: karlsson and hedman 100% make it, especially karlsson. He carried that sens team for years.

I don’t see Suter and Peiterangelo in the hall of fame.
Again, they’re great players, but by adding them in the HOF were really just watering down the prestige of being a HOF inductee. If they make, then letang, subban, burns, etc... all deserve to be in there as well. I don’t agree with that

They are both locks with ring sizes and leisure jackets already measured by the Hall.
Keith has won almost every hardware piece there is in hockey including: 3-Stanley's, 2-OLY Gold, a World Cup, 2-Norris, a Conn Smythe and WHL Champ - holy fook!

These are the HOF futures.
It took a while to research so just the forward group shown by BSilk above ^ ^ ^.
Recommend using Elite Prospects (on the players' pages they have a "Highlights" feature showing hardware and so for the 'bubble boys' I used that).

It's The Hockey Hall of Fame and not Just the NHL - Zetterberg for example, has won globally and NHL and that's why he's in...100%

Ovechkin
Crosby
Kane
Zetterberg - bubble boy originally as my first impression - but he's won at all levels NHL/International - he's a HOF-amer
Bergeron
Hossa - 3-Cups seals it
Kopitar - 2-Cups, 2 Selkes'
Toews
Thornton
Malkin
Getzlaf

...more to come

I dont think quick was ever that great. He was just the product of a very good defensive system.

Toews and Kopitar in their prime were both elite players but not superstars. How much better are prime Toews and Kopitar than Ryan O'Reilly? I don't think that much yet two are in the HHOF conversation and one isnt. The HHOF let's too many people in, it should be for the true superstars and people that change the game like Willie O'Ree. Fantastic coaches and upper management should get in if they're deserving but as it is they are just watering down the HHOF

Toews has won it all - he is 110% IN.
