Dont think Columbus does this. He just broke out and they have to see where he goes before they move him.

Him and Domi are both guys figuring out what they will be in this league, be an interesting swap that would take 2 years to determine a winner.

Colombus isn't doing this. Why are they giving the first?

Columbus declines. We aren’t trading Bjorkstrand. He isn’t worth Domi. He was the best offensive play in Columbus last year, plus we aren’t moving a 1st. If that’s the price for Domi you can keep him. We’d rather keep our best offensive player.

He was also solid defensively even though he is more of a scoring forward. Plus at age 25 and at $2,5M.

More great reasons for why he’s untouchable.

Then keep him! Columbus isn’t trading Bjorkstrand. He’s as untouchable as PLD, Werenski, and Jones are.

You also have to think that Domi has 2 full NHL season more then Bjorkstrand has.

Cause bjornstrand had a breakout year. Domi had a down year. Also why is Columbus giving their first?

A breakout year!! He have not even olayed a half season this year. Drouin was around a point per game at the end of January last year and everyone know how its finish. Domi have been averaging over 50 point per season for the past 5 years, he have show consistency something Bjorkstrand haven’t yet. Domi have been better then Bjorkstrand everysingle year.

Both have the same age so Bjorkstrand wasn’t just good enough when Domi was a regular in the Nhl.

Bro even though their the same age domi has more nhl experience. Also one 70 point seasons means nothing when you go back to tour normal 50 point seasons

How about 2 36 point season or a 40 point season? What does it mean because if Domi as a down year and Bjorkstrand is better with some 36 point season i don’t know what are you trying to explain here

Bjorkstrand was also a 3rd round pick and Domi was top 10... 8th I believe. Bjorkstrand also had 128 points his last year in JRs and lead his AHL team to a Calder cup, leading that team in goals and points in that playoff run.

Is Domi good, no he’s great and I’d love him on the jackets, but if the cost is Bjorkstrand it’s not worth it. Let alone adding a 1st. Columbus can’t make that trade. Foudy or Grigoranko will have to be good enough as a 2nd line center next year. Bjorkstrand has his best year so far and is only getting better, it’s not the time to pull the shoot and trade him.

You can say the same about Domi though, he’s been a little more up and down in his NHL career after a great rookie year and a sophomore slump and then being traded and improving in Montreal.

Bjorkstrand very important to Columbus. He’s starting to develop into a top line wing. I think a line of Texier, PLD and Bjorkstrand will be a good top line. No need to break that up for a 2nd line center.

What sophomore slump?? Domi as average around 50 point in each season except last year where he was incredibly. Domi as been extremely consistent from the start of is career to this date. Even this year he had 37 point in 43 game before the Habs collapse with their second 8 game loosing streak. Just can see any point of comparison between Bjorkstrand and Domi. If you think you are better with Bjorstrand then fine but don’t try to push me that he is equal or superior to Domi. Nothing goes your way on that one.

That Oilers trade is laughable, no way we give up Lavoie to get rid of one year of Russel

I'm gonna have to disagree with you on that one bro. I really don't wanna trade Domi and CBJ don't wanna trade Bjorkstrand either. Plus, we should keep the player who can
play both wing and center than a RW who will get lost in the shuffle behind Gally and Caufield and maybe even Armia
