As for Lindgren, his playstyle might be similar, but there's an enormous difference between 6'0'' 191lbs and 6'6'' 235lbs...

For a 25 yo 50 pts winger, I think it starts with your 2020 1st but I doubt NYR trades him for futures since they want to contend now and Buchnevich is a big part of their top 6.

Buchnevich and Kapanen are both super overrated on this site. They are both 3rd line 40pt players, nothing more nothing less

I'm not sure he's worth a 1st. If we're including a 1st in trade proposals then I'd rather target someone the next level up from Buchnevich.

Pretty much. Once a 1st is on the table you're talking Tatar/Domi/Drouin/Rakell/Reinhart for 1st + prospect type of trade. Buchnevich/Kapanen/Johnsson types simply don't have that value - especially in a flat cap league in an Expansion Draft year.

As I said in the description I'd love to hear a counter proposal. That would be way more constructive than just trashing the proposal.

At the very least a first. Jost was 12th among Colorado F's in TOI/GP (13th if you include Namestnikov), Zadorov was 5th in Dman TOI/GP (with a staggering 4 seconds more than Cole). That does not get you a Top 6 F.

Jost is only 12th in ice-time because of how stacked Colorado's roster is. He's also only 22. Most players only break into the league around that age, yet Jost has already played 200+ games and scored 66 points. Lot's of upside.

Zadorov has been a legit top 4 D for most of his time in Colorado, but is now 5th due to the fact that we have a gluttony of riches at LHD.

If they were better, they'd have been played more. If you're going to use best possible projections, then I'm going to say Buchnevich is a 60-70 pt RW. As is, he's far and away the Rangers best current RW. He's also cheaper than the pair of them now, BEFORE they demand raises. Unless you're trading a 1st or Girard for him, there's probably no deal to be made

Honestly if you swap Buch with Strome, it's an interesting offer.
