I like Stutzle more, personally. Yes, Byfield is young, he has the size, skating, hands, shot, he's great offensively, and will likely be a fantastic center for a long time, but Stutzle straight up embarrassed grown men on a regular basis and plays a more dynamic game IMO. Plus he's one of the silkiest skaters I've ever seen. I can definitely see why Byfield is favored by many over Stutzle (and I'd guess he goes second overall), but I think both prospects are very close.

Sure ig, but Byfield is consensus #2, so if u want Stutzle trade down to 3.

Don't think anyone is trading up from 3rd to 2nd. If they want Byfield, there's no reason trade up because they'd be getting Byfield 3rd anyway.

Yeah. But if the team with the 3rd overall pick knows you want Stutzle, they wouldn't give up assets to get Byfield 2nd.

I agree that Byfield should go 2nd overall, but if a team wants Stutzle over Byfield, they'd just have to take him 2nd.

I guess so, but what if they know you don't want Stutzle? And why would you want Stutzle over Byfield? They're both centres, and Byfield > STutzle

If a team wants Byfield over Stutzle, they aren't trading back from 2nd.

Also Stutzle and Byfield are both unbelievable talents, but the have very different skillsets. Different teams who value different skillsets over others might choose one over the other.

And its absolutely clearly that way. Byfield is closer to Lafreniere than he is to Stutzle.

I feel like the Canucks would trade down a bit to get Drysdale. Their defense is an absolute mess.
