I disagree, Colorado’s holes aren’t offensive. Defensively they struggle (Makar I know but he’s not good defensively yet) and mainly keeping a healthy starter. Grubauers injures are starting to pile up and while Francouz played well, I wouldn’t be banking in that for the long haul. I think Colorado would entertain a trade because they can basically. If they want to add, and they cannot fix their holes, why not add to their strength?

Cozens & the 2020 1st are off the table for Gaudreau
1- he’s only got 2yrs left on his deal
2- he’s coming off a down year
3- we already have Skinner & Olofsson at LW, so that’s not a position we’re looking to acquire. We need a 2C & RW2

All of this, yes. I suspect olofsson would be fine on the off wing, his shot being his bread and butter, but that still leaves us absolutely lost at sea at center after eichel. I think the idea that eichel has to have better linemates to keep him happy is weak and not well thought out. His line has been very good, and its getting better as his all around game grows. The problem that keeps us from winning is the nipple in the gms office that traded away ror for hot garbage, decided to stick a middle 6 winger at 2c and then miss on basically every other forward he acquired (save possibly kahun). Eichel will be happier if we win, we have a better chance of winning if eichels line doesnt have to score 3 times a game for us to win.
