The Byram for Drouin trade is delusional. Never happening.

Timmins + 2nd for Tatar seems like reasonably fair value, but I don´t foresee Sakic trading Timmins for a rental.

You´re going to need to go waaay higher than $5.5m AAV if you want to acquire Mantha via an offersheet. Detroit would match that immediately, and send you flowers thanking you for doing them a favour.

Kulak isn't bad but there are 2 major issues with the Sharks trade:

A) Our left side is already jammed up
B) Is Kulak really worth a 2nd from a team that desperately needs to retain picks as much as possible?

Correct. I think you're more of a placeholder because obviously the Sharks aren't a primetime destination for him but I think Kulak's worth a late 2nd-early 3rd in a trade, he's top 15 in the league in corsiFor and I think he's underrated.

Habs' fans please stop trading Drouin to the Avs. Nobody wants to recreate the "chemistry" of 2013.

to Get rid of Subban, while getting the better player.

1. Drouin + Mete for Byram is more than fair, I actually meant to remove the picks but missed removing them from the trade.

2. Tatar would be a sign and trade probably around 5-6 Mil for 5 years

I actually did not realize the Sharks left side was that jammed up, I was posting from my phone and already had multiple tabs on the go lol. So maybe instead of the Sharks Kulak to the Kings makes more sense

Personally I don't really care if the Wings match I was just trying to add RW depth for a decent price.

1. Drouin has what, 15 points this season? And is paid $5.5m. His career high is 53 points yet Montreal fans think he has the value of a PPG forward. And Mete is a one dimensional 3rd pairing Dman. Even if you added a 1st to that Avs would still say no.

2. Tatar signed would have more value for sure. But I'm not sure he signs for just 5-6m after the last 2 seasons he's had. And honestly as a 30 year old with 5-6 year term I think we could simply sign someone in UFA instead of giving up huge assets. The point of trading big assets would be to get something we can't get in UFA after all, and in that case we would rather target someone younger.

As for Mantha, he's not a depth forward. He's a 1st line PPG forward. And why bother making OS's that are so low that they would never get signed by the player themselves, and quickly get matched even if the player signed it? It's like if someone would make a $2m offersheet for Cirelli. It's just so unrealistic that it just wastes time.
