Thats a werid way to put it. Just because they are slightly better players doesnt mean they have to be a line higher haha.

The lines and pairings just fit better this way.

Such a poor trade offer. If you're going to make a wild trade like this, at least make it realistic. If NSH "blows it up", do you really think they are at all interested in Gardiner/McGinn? And the two prospects are non-factors -- so it's basically a top 6, 30 goal scorer and a top 2 capable defenseman for a 1st and scraps. The trade is completely one-sided.

You clearly know nothing about Fensore if you think he's a non-factor. That being said, this is still a woeful offer

I'm not too interested in a 5'7" 18 year old defenseman -- I don't see him moving the needle in this trade or being a big piece for the future of the team. If he makes it to the NHL, I don't see him as being anything other than a complimentary piece. He may turn out to be great, but I wouldn't take that risk when trading Arvidsson and Ekholm. They can get a much better return with prospects that have higher ceilings and more NHL certainty.

I hate Nashville and think this is an awful trade for them.

Imo Fensore is this teams best d spec, he was damn good in the NCAA this year (which is no slouch of a league) and he plays bigger than his size, he stood out when I watched the beanpot (like I wasn't watching to scout players and he impressed me) like I didn't even notice he was 5 7...

He's really smart, his positioning and fearlessness, ig you'd call it, more than make up for his size in his own end, and he's always been a really solid offensive guy

That being said the trade offer is still terrible lol, a first a potential top 4 d man and some relatively useless pieces is not gonna get Ekholm and Arvidsson

Swap Gardiner for Skjei. Swap McGinn for Foegele. Would that be close?

Would think Nashville would get a better return trading these player separately. Nothing with potential to move the needle in the trade for them.
