I don't mind adding Bowey as a depth defenseman but not at the expense of losing Reino. I am just much higher on him than I am on Mantha

Sabres are likely going to have to overpay to land UFA's. I would expect Soderberg tondraw interest from other teams maybe not at 4 million but still interest.

Detroit probably takes that and runs, Reinhart is younger already putting up more points then Mantha. But Mantha is a big power forward. So i've mixed emotions on this one.

This seems lateral at best for Detroit. Yes, Reinhart is putting up slightly more points (Not prorated) but who does he primarily play with and they’re the same position. Mantha is a line driver and has shown what he can do the past couple years if he can stay healthy and not break his hands on helmets...

I hope so he was #2OA in 2014 and Mantha was drafted before the wheels fell off in Detroit.

Well I won’t argue the younger part, but Mantha is bigger, produces points at a higher PPG pace and has better possession metrics. The most unrealistic part of this trade is Yzerman saying thanks but no thanks.

He's not even better that's the funny thing. If it wasn't for Eichel carrying him he'd be considered a bust by now. The talent difference was stark playing for team Canada last year. Mantha was the best player on the team, Reinhart was invisible.

Talk to me when mantha can score more than 48 points in a season.
