I believe he's talking about Joe Haggerty but Hags also included Carlo and multiple 1sts (if i remember correctly) in the proposed offer. Or at least in the article that I read. I want to say he included Grizz as well, but ill double check the article.

UPDATE: This is the exact quote from the article "It would start with trading high-grade, young assets like promising young Michigan center and former first round pick John Beecher and restricted free agent winger Jake DeBrusk, along with a robust high draft pick package. Perhaps you don’t get out of an earth-shattering Eichel deal without including a young D-man like Charlie McAvoy or Brandon Carlo, and that’s where the decision could get awfully difficult were it to ever get to that point."

So I was wrong saying that he included Grizz and Carlo. But he suggested that one of McAvoy or Carlo would likely have to be involved.

Again Eichel isn’t getting traded this offseason. And he’s definitely not getting traded to a division rival. Certainly for not this package.

One day, as a UFA, you will see. But definitely not in the next 10 years.

Include Carlo and a first I think that’s becoming a reasonable offer.... trading someone like Eichel you can’t expect to win the best player part but that would be a tough collection of assets to just turn down.

And it would take far more then that offer to get Jack Eichel, That's for sure.

Eichel is a fantastic player but as a Bruins fan I dont think I would trade a package of Debrusk and Carlo for Eichel. We would be filling a hole that doesn't need to be filled right now and creating two new holes in the line up. Obviously Krejci would become expendable at that point but can he fetch us a replacement for Carlo or Debrusk? Idk if he does.

I’m with you on this I wouldn’t bother from a bruins perspective but as an offer for eichel i actually think that’s the fairest most sensible one I’ve seen on here.

But those are untouchable pieces. I’m saying like what they’d be willing to offer which is a bunch of overrated prospects who don’t pan out when they are “ready” to play in the NHL

I think it will not be easy for Boston to get him, since there are probably teams with more serious prospects and picks, and also to trade him in the division is also not the smartest decision.
