Eichel to Boston

Created by: Jwirb12
Team: 2020-21 Boston Bruins
Initial Creation Date: Jun. 23, 2020
Published: Jun. 23, 2020
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Yes that is a lot of money down the middle but we have a ton of money coming off the cap next year with Krejci chara reworked Rask deal. I think that forward group and the emergence or lauzon at the end of the season and veteran presence of McCabe coming in is big. Eichel can learn from bergy and form a 1-2 punch in the coming years with studnicka and Krejci can take advantage of third line matchups with coyle. Do I have any idea what I’m talking about no. So what you guys think

Fyi four years for debrusk isn’t an option. It takes him right to UFA without buying out any UFA years. Any other term is fine though.

Need studnicka in there

Was hoping you would pop up with the length details that I still don’t grasp for some reason hahaha the money is good though? And tried to do the two first over studnicka
Would you go after eichel? I still think this team is solid and deep even losing a lot of guys Carlo going really hurts me but

Eichel isn't going to be dealt within the division, And it would cost Boston far more to acquire Eichel then what it would be worth.

Tough question. I guess of course, I would kick tires if he is available. Kinda have to right? I don’t think he’s available. But let’s say things go crazy and he says he won’t play for them anymore. I think I would tell buffalo, “No Pastrnak, no mcavoy....everything else is on the table.” I think I would try to build it around Debrusk, any two prospects they want, a 1st, and a conditional 1st.

I despise the draft board!
NHL success has become via draft & develop and the Bruins define that best w/ Pasta, Carlo, Chucky, Jake, Grz, the 3-headed AHL Goalie Monster, and of course Marchand-Bergy-Krejci etc.
Scouts will literally walk out the door with that workload on their mini-salad-plate.

7 for 2 trades are so pre-Madonna

In the trade. Yes. Wagner and Kuhlman don't make the Sabres 4th line.

Studnicka, Beecher, DeBrusk and the picks.

The McCabe part is odd. Buffalo has many RHD and few LHD. Boston has many RHD and fewer LHD...

Awesome... more unrealistic Eichel to Boston trades
It starts with Pasta
If Boston says no, the Sabres say fine bc:
1- they don’t have to move Eichel
2- they’ll be getting plenty of great offers from other teams
3- probably not trading him to a division rival unless it’s a severe overpay

Packages like this won’t get it done

It doesn’t start with pasta. If they trade eichel they are rebuilding why trade a superstar for another superstar that you won’t be able to win with either. If you trade eichel you are doing it for a lot of young pieces and picks.

Packages like this are all they’ll get. Forget the superstar for superstar trade. It’s not a real life notion unless there is another scenario where a superstar desperately wants out.

Good young roster player, maybe two, high end prospect, maybe two, first round pick, maybe two. That’s what your’e looking at. When was the last time there was a star for star trade? Heatley for Hossa? If there is a horrible team out there that has a superstar that wants to make a deal, maybe bring that up. Otherwise you’ll get offers of young players from good teams.

Would say the last star for star trade was PK for Weber

Wow a deal without keeping Krug and moving Moore.

Just can’t give up young D like Carlo. Too hard to come by.

Think a number one center is also hard to find.
