You bring Maroon to add some grit and at a good price. Bastian as well and the value is fair.

Not really true , Sabres are not good at defending anything, Defense is a team effort no single player will turn a team from terrible Defensively to top of the league defensively, personally as a Leafs fan I have no issue aquiring Risto, he puts up points, he's a big hitter as well, I'm sorry but a Muzzin Risto pairing will be a formidable pairing to deal with for opposing team forwards as they will be punished everytime they enter the zone. Our 3 C is now very weak possibly look at signing Johan Larsson at 3 C (He has stellar defensive numbers considering the team he's been playing on)
