Description
For the record, as a Kings fan, I am 100% against this trade. I do not want Eichel at the cost of Vilardi and 2OA.

But I will explain to you how the Sabres would be the winners of this trade.

Not only is Gabriel Vilardi a 1C in the making, but he had a super impressive first stint with the Kings. Ever since Vilardi's call up, the Kings went 8-1-1.

Byfield, the likely pick for the Sabres at 2OA. We all know what he has the potential to be.

Iafallo, a LW who would have gotten 50 points this year had it not ended early.

If Adam's is truly pushing for this trade, you guys should be happy you are in good hands. This is a brilliant move to consider for Adam's. Again, I hope it does not happen.

Its Iafallos 3rd year after being signed a college FA. I'd say that's pretty good and he's from Buffalo. You need to research and learn more about him because you obviously don't know enough.

I think it would be incredibly smart for buffalo. Around here don’t expect anyone to like it because Eichel gets mcdavid level value to most here which is absurd some of the offers seeing.

Vilardi is, he can be a great player, but if he avoids problems with injuries. I know that Iafallo is from Buffalo, but this does not mean that he has great value in this deal.

He had 1 bad year... Why don't you take his other seasons into account and the fact that he was playing for the Sabres...

Any players production will go up on the Leafs, they are one of the most offensive teams.

He is a solid two way puck moving defenseman, but you might be right. "He is not what the Leafs want or need" because the last thing the Leafs need is a solid two way guy... Muzzin and Holl got the defense part on their own, huh?

I watched the guy in Anaheim and Buffalo. He is an offensive Dman and regardless of his bad season he is not what Leafs need or want. Im okey with trading for player with bad season, thats why I mentioned Colin Miller who was pure **** this year.

Miller is a two-way guy. Montour is not.

Because for us, he is as valuable as McDavid for you, he is our best player. Elite 1C, which is 23 years old and has six year contract, it will cost a lot of assets.

Try taking off your bias goggles and look at it like everyone else here, it is really fair value. You are about the only one so far that disagrees...

Nope. We know them perfectly. Montour is not two-way guy by any means. He just sucks defensively. He is a good offensive Dman and if we needed that I would want him on the Leafs, but we need exact opposite.

Eh I think kerfoot is grass .. Oh and Kapanen is so what we need. our only good RWer is Reinhart. Kapanen could slot on the 2nd line and get those 2nd line minutes he deserves!

I agree with you completely. Not to mention adding Eichel salary will cause complications LA doesn’t need better off staying the course. I find it humorous how much people think he’s worth I’m not even sure he’s worth the 10 million.....

I wouldn't do it either. Vilardi and 2OA is what the Kings need, not another 10M center. But to say Vilardi(a future 1C), Iafallo(a top 6 LW), and 2OA(Byfield/Stutzle) is not fair value for Eichel is ridiculous.
