No bad, but why would Pittsburgh trade Guentzel for that? And he has retention, it doesn’t make any sense to me. I like the Khudobin, Haula signings and you didn’t give AA too much money. And of course Lafreniere and McDavid would be nice to have together!

MTL take that no joke
Russell still can be a good 3rd pairing guy, good defensively
I’ll take that

Pittsburgh not even remotely close
Vancouver same, wouldn’t take Kassian even if he was free
Carolina more close but not a 1st

I think EDM would be 4/4 for trade rejections here; they all either favour the Oilers or don’t fit the other teams needs. And it doesn’t sound like there will be a CBO.

though I think guenztal is a overated player, he's is gonna fetch a first for sure
Van already has ferland
CBO seems unlikely( Bobby M said so)
You probably won't get that third in the russell trade
Canes laugh

I wish people would stop shopping larsson. He’s the oilers top pairing guy. Bear was good but that’s asking for trouble.

No, we have Mete and that’s it. Weber Petry top2 Chiarot top4 Mete is a #5 Kulak #7 and we don’t know if Juulsen is 100% healthy

Juulsen is healthy, will need some playing time but he’s a solid D and easily can handle bottom pair, Fleury showed he can play in the NHL. Romanov will be fine, Harris, Norlinder, Struble all are showing promising development there’s no need to make a rushed signing. Accept it this team is only going to be good when Caufield and Suzuki get a year or two under their belt and when that happens the D will be ready to go. If we win the lottery then mayyybe you might see a move for a D but if that doesn’t happen we will let the kids develop.

Struble is not 2 years away from the NHL
Norlinder signed a 2 years contract in the SHL
Harris is going back to college
Fleury isn’t NHL ready, yes he hits hard, but is positioning and first pass are bad
Juulsen IS a Nhl dman, but he’ll need to have a good camp
Russell doesn’t have a lot of terms and would help on the PK as well
