I agree. Contrary to popular belief, Ehlers is better but under utilized. Connor has more value and should get a great T4 RHD or 2C.

Yeah, honestly connors value is inflated due to his line mates. I think he’s tremendously skilled, but he’s never had bad linemates or been against adversity so I think his value might be inflated.

It would be ehlers imo. Connor and laine are Primarily goal scorers while scheifele and ehlers are more all round players and wheeler is a playmaker. I think that since lafrenniere is also an all round player he would replace ehlers in the top 6. As much as the Dane is dynamic, connor is going to be a 40+ goal scorers for the better half of this decade imo and will be above a pt/game. Ehlers will be a solid possession guy and will likely be around a pt/game but lafrenniere will just be the better version of him in that sense. Yes the jets won’t have exiting end to end rushes but still, it’s a better balanced group if ehlers is replaced by lafrenniere instead of Connor or laine

Maybe, I'm not sure who around the league is available I'd trade either Ehlers or Connor for.

With the cap space we have this year, free agency is probably a better option.
