It’s hard to gauge labancs value as he had a down season, I would say a 3rd and a mid level prospect

Honestly they shouldn't trade him. The thing SJ needs is RWs, and Labanc is their only RW...

Unless we're getting back a good, young goalie who can basically split starts (ie. Georgiev etc.) or a RW just as good as Labanc, I don't think San Jose accepts anything less than a 35OA pick.

His value is about a mid first. What it will take to trade for him will be much higher. We need him more than anything you will give us

What he's worth to SJ right now is more than anyone is willing to pay. He won't be moved. @Nohate that's not even remotely close.

Yet Leaf fans think Kapanen is worth a 1st +

Take the Kapanen deals and that's what Labanc is worth given he has outperformed Kapanen in every season since turning pro, aside from this year where they were basically the same in terms of points while Labanc rode an unsustainably low PDO (90.8). Labanc carried possession at a very high rate and was just on the negative end of a bad on ice shooting percentage.
