Benn is awful and NSH needs to conserve their cap space so there is no reason to trade for him.

Bortuzzo will never be on NSH after injuring Arvidsson like he did.

True that NSH needs a good bottom pairing guy, but ideally that'd be a #4-5 RD. Someone to give Fabbro some competition for the 2nd pairing spot.

NSH is currently using Jarnkrok on the 2nd line. He's got 2 more years left at just $2M. Gunnarsson would have a much less prominent role on the Preds, being buried behind Josi and Ekholm on the left side. He has a year less term, and is five years older than Jarnkrok. A little cheaper, but the difference is pretty negligible. Gunnarsson would be an add-on to even out salary, in a Jarnkrok trade - not a starting point.
