    The Toffoli contract are the numbers that were reported maybe he might get 5.5 million aav but nit much more. For Markstrom your right he might get more money but that's all I would pay him based on his body of work.

    Jake bean would be a great add but I think he costs more than Jake alVirtanen and a C prospect. Only reason Carolina would consider this to because they have too many D to protect in the expansion draft. However if you keep Virtanen and Benn, and sign Tanev instead of Barrie, it’s still works cap wise and requires fewer moving parts.

    I think signing Barrie is over kill. Hughes, Myers, and Rathbone are all offensively minded Dmen. Good to have a shutdown guy like Tanev back there
