I do and I’m not sold on the imo overrated Jake Sanderson - Habs have Norlinder, Harris and the high ceiling Struble coming up in the pipeline. They can pick up a LD at pick 39-40 without much falloff from Sanderson.
The USA development team plays against a lot of inferior opponents - Green Bay Sioux City Sioux Falls and Fargo are not exactly hockey hotbeds. Everybody thought Cam York was the fix last year for the Habs at LD - I’m not sold
Cormier, Wallinder, Poirier, Andrae O’Rourke are just a few LD that would be solid picks in that range
I would take Quinn or Lundell before I pick Sanderson

I’d pick Quinn over Sanderson.

I look at every 2020 mock on here but don’t comment if it’s absolutely mental or some small adjustments, and mainly comment on Habs ones. That being said I agree with the two people above. Quinn is one of my favourite prospects and I’d be thrilled if we got him. There was a tweet about Timmins liking Sanderson which I’m guessing you’ve seen and is probably the reason u put him here. That being said I think rhd prospect is more important and there are some good ones in round two. The tweet is also most likely wrong and if it’s true it’s confusing as hell. Does he have holtz and Raymond ahead of Rossi but doesn’t like them for mtl?, does he have them ahead and doesn’t think they’ll fall? Or does he have Sanderson ahead of both? Anyways my guy is Quinn all the way. We need some offence and ESPECIALLY ONE WHO CAN PUT THE BLEEPING PUCK IN THE NET!

Wild were looking at the future in nets when they drafted Kaapo Kahkonen. Heard of him? Minny goalie of the future

I would say there is about a 5% chance that Wings take Drysdale, last thing they need is RD.
Not sure how Raymond at 5'10 is considered a "Big Winger"
Perfetti is at least 2 years from NHL ready, he has a lot to work on and is a LW, none of these things help Buffalo
Wild have one of the best goalie prospects in the league already in kahkonen
Flames are is significant more need of center prospects then wingers

I could die happy if the sharks got Amirov. He will be gone before 28, though.

I live in mock drafts mostly when i come to cap friendly. Only comment on sharks trades in ACGM but ACGM is mostly absurd to me these days, lot of over-the-top trades.

Totally agree with you that there are some good RHD that could be available at picks 39,40 and 60. I would love another scorer like Foerster to fall to 39. While Juulsen, Fleury and maybe Brook provide some depth for RHD, Niemela could be a good fit. Colangelo would be a good pick at 60

We need at least one physical player. Cuylle is a monster, Colangelo is nice but I really like heineman. Emil is fast, energetic and can crush people in a men’s league as well. Foerster would be fantastic tho I doubt he gets there

I agree to a certain extent, but having good pipeline is never a bad thing, I would think it would be a mistake to put all your marbles in one place so to speak.

Thanks everyone else for their feedback. Guess I'm on the Sanderson hype train a little too much. Habs will have a lot of good player available if they pick at 9

Not sure why I listed him as a big winger lol for some reason I have him as a big guy in my head, lol.
Perfetti has played both the wing and center, at this point anything can help Buffalo
IMO the flames need some more on the wing, more then center, Monahan, Jankowski, Dube, Gawdin, etc at center... Monahan is only 25

Perfetti hardly played center this year, he'll be kinda like Granlund and take a couple face offs but almost strictly play wing
Flames definitely do not need wingers. Jankowski is a 4th line PKer. Gawdin might be able to play 3C but likely ends up as a 4C or a RW. Dube hasnt played center since the WHL, he is purely a winger. On top of that they also have Pelletier, Emilio Pettersen, and Phillips who are all strictly wingers. Furthermore
whoever they draft in the mid teens will likely take 3 years to develop and by then Backlund will not be a top 6 player. There is almost no chance they take another unless its Lafreniere. Even then I would trade down for Byfield as Flames GM.
