Gudreau is 1 year removed from 99 points in a season. Debrincat will probably never hit those numbers, but he's younger and cost controlled. Thats why I think its a win win

For sure. Wasn’t saying it was a bad trade. I’m just saying I’d lean more towards keeping Cat due to age etc

This deal changed. It was Debrincat plus plus earlier. No way I'm trading Gaudreau straight up Debrincat.

Hmmmm.... this is tough. As a Hawks fan ill pass. I do think Johnny hockey is a better player right now, but they're different players. Debrincat is more of a goal scorer. Johnny hockey more a playmaker and we already have a better playmaker than JG. Kane's a far better playmaker.
