OTT likely declines, they have no use/need for Gourde and Wolanin is very important for them

not to mention no way gourde is waiving to play in ottawa. i also dont think johnson waives to play in minnesota. although that would be a steal for minny.

Killorn has a Modified NTC so guessing teams on that list is going to be tough. playing with eichel might entice him to go to buffalo.

Well it wouldn't, since his cap hit&term are pretty bad

Killlorn: Starting July 1, 2020: Player submits a 16 team no trade list.

All those crap teams will be on that list, and any team with cap space.

I agree that Gourde and Johnson arent waiving. Weather, taxes, team is a perennial cup contender. They added this clause as they took less money at the time they signed, for this EXACT reason.

I like that Killorn trade, but I doubt he chooses Buffalo.

for donato and a 3rd? tyler johnson had 31 points in a reduced role. hes only 29, doesnt play a physical style of hockey so his body should still have plenty in the tank. idk man 5m for him seems about spot on. i mean he can replace galchenyuk in a landslide and could even help shelter some of JEE minutes. They also have parise for 5 more years, zuccarello for 5 more years, suter for 5 more years. I think they have to either figure out a way to compete now or go full tank mode and figure out a way to salvage some assets in moving them...

Johnson brings a lot of what the Wild need (right-shot, versatile forward/center), but he also adds to an already full roster of old guys on long-term contracts... I would love to add Johnson to the Wild’s mix, but they would have to figure out how to trade zuccarello for this to work for them.
