I dont doubt youve put some thought into this, but im sure COL declines.
Jost hasnt impressed, but Andersson definitely hasnt either.

    Ill keep Jost > Andersson.
Im sure a deal can be worked out for Zadorov and Kamanev though

Been talking on a thread about these guys' values with a few other guys...Interesting thoughts though. Between me, another Rangers fan, and an Avs fan, this was my best guess at meeting in the middle for all these popular trade bait names

    Its not crazy far.
I just personally feel that although both players have yet to live up to their draft positions, I still feel safer keeping Jost.

I'm not high on acquiring any defensemen, unless it's a trade like DeAngelo : Hanifin.

In my opinion, we have the future defense core already in the system. One of Trouba/DeAngelo moves to the left and our top 4 is SOLID in a couple years (Trouba, Fox, DeAngelo, Miller). Then we have further depth options with Rykov, Hajek, Lundkvist, Reunanen, Robertson.

If you take out Jost, Andersson, and the 3rd I would do it. Im not a fan of Andersson at all and if were trading Jost Id rather just get a 2nd+3rd for him

Nice attempt at combining some trades, but I think it falls short of meeting Colorado's expectations. I'll address each part of the trade separately for clarity:

Lias and mid 3rd for Jost.

This part of the trade falls a bit short. Lias is in bust territory and we'd want more than a 3rd in return to offset the risk of moving an established 3rd liner for a guy who looks like a bust.

For the record, the trades @Stanley_Cup_To_Manhattan and I agreed on were:

    Jost for Lias + 2021 NYR 2nd

    or

    Jost for Lias + 2020 DAL 3rd + 2021 BUF 3rd* (*3rd becomes 2021 NYR 2nd if Jost scores 35 points).

    Nieves + 2nd + 4th for Zadorov + Kamenev + 6th

Nieves is of no interest to us. Just take out Nieves, Kamenev, and the 6th and make it 2020 WIN 2nd + 2021 OTT 4th for Zadorov which would be agreeable.

If we make the first part of the trade Jost for Lias + 2nd it might be quite a few picks changing hands, as it would essentially be:

    Zadorov + Jost for Lias + 2nd + 2nd + 4th. ....

... so i'm not sure Rangers would agree to that. With that as the base I'd be willing to throw in Kamenev as a sweetener though. You can send back Nieves if you feel like it but it's not necessary.

    Zadorov + Jost + Kamenev for Lias + 2nd + 2nd + 4th.

No Zadorov. They could have kept Skjei, if they needed a LHD.

If Skjei was making 3 we might've kept him. He was making 5.2 and never lived up to it. Bad defensively. Robbed Carolina in that deal

I don’t see why Colorado would even consider any Jost for lias deal. Neither have lived up to expectations but at least Jost became a useful depth player.

Lias has 0 trade value, why is he being included as a main piece in any deal?
He's declared he will NOT come back to NYR to play in the NHL.
This means NY is at a disadvantage when it comes to trading him.

but that also means his value would be higher on other teams. The Rangers aren't required to move him. They aren't going to do it for nothing. He's still a good prospect. He hasn't depreciated into a value-less asset
