expansion draft - based on current rosters

Description
Based on this protection list: https://www.capfriendly.com/forums/thread/344190 (there is only one mistake and that I went with Alex Killorn instead of Mathieu Joseph, but I realized long after I made the expansion draft forum post)

Also here are some deals I think might happen prior to selection:
- Calgary sends 2022 2nd round pick to protect Juuso Valimaki from expansion draft. Seattle picks one of the forwards instead.
- Minnesota sends 2022 2nd round pick to protect Jonas Brodin from expansion draft. Seattle picks one of the forwards instead.

I dont expect much more deals than that tbh. Teams learned from Nashville from 2017 tbh.

I thought out possible contract extension for the players who would be RFAs/UFAs in 2020 or 2021 but would be selected in 2021 expansion draft to Kraken.

Team has cap of around 68M dollars and fits everything.

Dont forget.. its based on CURRENT rosters and not prediction of roster..

As long as Markstrom doesn't have a NMC the Canucks would protect Demko over Marky

Trochek will be protected. Depending how Grundstrom does next season, Kings might be protecting him.

I doubt it. They have too many valuable forwards to protect. Aho, Tera, Niedereiter, Trochek, Foegele, ect. The only defensemen they need to protect are Slavin, Hamilton, and Pesce. Gardiner and Skjei are easily replaceable.

They lack quality 2C. That's why they traded for Trochek in the first place. They aren't about to let them take him and try to find another 2C.

I think they protect Bean along with those 3 you mentioned and let Niederreiter, Foegele or Trocheck go.

Sharks will likely protect Dahlen. Cooch, Meier, Kane, Hertl, True, Labanc and Dahlen. Karl, Vlasic and Simek. Korenar.

i think Kampf would get taken over highmore, but guess it just depends on your preference there.

YES!! Thank you for putting it to 21-22 when Seattle starts. Nobody else did it, which makes no sense because some of the people they pick is a UFA the time Seattle comes, and I don’t see them as a contender. And interesting choice on Puljujarvi. We are going to lose a good player to Seattle no matter what. Puljujarvi is a good one for Seattle because he is a low risk high reward type guy especially if you get him for free!

If they take Frederic over Grzelcyk/Lauzon & Bjork/Ritchie without a side deal, good for Boston.
