Way too many trades involving Detroit trading back to spots 5 or 6. There isn't that much difference in value for those picks.

Rossi, Drysdale, Raymond and Perfetti are all pretty similar in value.

I think the price to move from 6 to 4 would be like the Ducks 2021 2nd round pick.

I’d take that depending on who Yzerman plans on taking.

Raymond, Perfetti, or Holtz, probably

True on all that. I’d give next year’s 2nd just to ensure the Ducks develop an RD!

I’d say that’s fair value but if that’s the Wings best offer, I think they just hold onto pick 4 and choose their favourite out of that next tier.

I mean I've been hearing it's Perfetti and if that's the case I think it would be very safe to trade back.

Ducks take Drysdale 100% and I have Ottawa taking Rossi (if they get Stutzle at 3) or Raymond (if they get Byfield at 3)

If it is Perfetti I’d probably agree that we could trade down. Ultimately, if Yzerman isn’t sure that his guy will still be available after trading down, I think he’ll stay put.

They might also have two guys they value pretty similarly. I don't think Drysdale is their guy. That's one of Detroit's only strong positions and Drysdale's value is slightly inflated because of the position he plays.

Do you have a friend close to the organization? I only ask as people like to say they hear it’s Perfetti because Osgood/Devellano owning Saginaw but the said could be said with Hakan with Raymond. I’m generally curious as there were a few people on HFB that predicted Seider to Detroit a couple weeks before the draft with inside info.

He has his choice of three of the four prime candidates.

No I don't have a friend in the organization but from what is available publically it's been suggested that Perfetti is the frontrunner.

I'd rather just draft a forward at 6, we need high end forwards just as much as high end RD (and the forwards will likely be better)

That’s what I was thinking. No team in the lottery is starved for an RD more than the Ducks. I don’t think Ottawa takes Drysdale at #3 but they might at #5. I think Ducks would give #6 and good prospects to get up to that #4 spot.

Consensus seems to think Detroit wants Perfetti.. To your point, if he’s not there at #6, Raymond/Rossi/Stutzle or Holtz will be.

I meant as ANA I'd rather just not trade up and draft a forward there
