That is really cheap to move Moore. If I'm New Jersey I don't do that deal.

They could get better assets with that cap space.

Look at one of my Recent ACGMs, it shows clearly that they do not NEED to move Moore to sign Krug, Debrusk, Griz, and Chara...
Also he just isnt a cap dump

There is no reason to try to argue, cuz bruins and non-bruins fans are just gonna shrug it off as uninformed.

No actually, he is. He's a scratch for half the season and a bottom pairing LD for the rest of it.

Thats because he is playing behind Krug, Chara, Griz, and Lauzon

Is Malkin a "middle 6 forward" because he plays behind Crosby? No!

How do you compare a top 6 center to a bottom pairing left handed defenseman?

Lol you said "He's a scratch for half the season and a bottom pairing LD for the rest of it"

He was HURT (on LTIR) half the season, and played bottom Pair LHD behind 3 top 4 dmen. So completely wrong and misinformed

How is this so hard for you to understand

It is hard to understand Boston being able to keep Moore and it is even harder to understand why any team would take him without some kind of compensation.

No its not lol, I just explained it twice, so clearly its not.
"Boston being able to keep Moore" - Done , i showed you
"why any team would take him without some kind of compensation" - Solid top 6 dman to round out a contender

I think this is a pretty reasonable way to move Moore if the market for him is incredibly dry. The rest is a bit optimistic i think.

honestly I think a team would take Moore for free. But basically its not like you're paying much to move him so its kinda whatever. Basically trade Moore for like a 5th round pick. The rest looks pretty good though.

I would even say he is worth less than a 5th, bruins will trade him for a 7th!! But no he isnt a cap dump

Well then your argument is fubar. You don't know that those player will sign that cheap. My ACGM is more realistic and more prepared for the players wanting a little more money.

I can't see any team trading for Moore who is being paid 2.75M for another 3 years just to fill a bottom pair LD spot unless there is some kind of compensation involved. They can just sign a guy like Borowieki or Greene or another player of that sort to fill that role for cheaper and less term. That's just my take.

I mean Bostons 4th is pretty much NJDs 5th. Blidh probably wont ever be an NHLer. its not like hes paying a 2nd to move Moore. its a very low price so its kinda mute point. Dont wanna say its a wash but its pretty close. I still think a team desperate for a LHD like Rangers could be interested in him though. He had some success there before. He'd probably be their 2nd best LHD behind Lindgren lol

I thought so too but then I checked his underlying numbers this year and he was actually pretty solid. I mean like I said your compensation is minimal so its fine IMO. but honestly John Moore isnt the Jack Johnson type defensemen that I thought he was. he was fine in a sheltered role for boston

All good or almost; Cehlarik is gone and DeBrusk+Grzelcyk will refuse (add $ for those terms).

I don't dislike the idea, but between Butcher, maybe bringing back Dakota Mermis, and a potential Ty Smith promotion, I don't know if the bottom LD is all that open.

Im glad you understand it
Im not saying hes a beast, im not even gonna say hes good!
But he sure as hell isnt a camp dump nor is he as bad as this guy and bf3351 think he is.
He was hurt half the year, and stuck behind 4 better LHD.
