So he is selling his home in Anaheim lol, lets see if there is a fit with Leafs for funsies.

I have no idea what his trade value would be. After his contract is done, he would sign a more team-friendly deal for next two or three years and would become one of the main leaders on the roster chasing after stanley cup.

Besides the fact that Getzlaf wouldn't waive, he'd be a great fit in TOR

Yeah. I think he would waive since he would still be on a young team but a team that is in right direction for contention. Him with Robertson would be DEADLY.

Meh. Pretty sure he himself said he’s not waiving so I’m not sure. That C depth would be ridiculous tho

Gonna have to send your 2021 first or a better prospect than that to get the ducks to pay 4 + million for Getzlaf to play for someone else

He'd be an excellent 3rd line center for a big playoff run, I think someone takes a run at him next season

Avs decline. We have no need for Johnsson, and no desire to pay a 2nd for him either.

Meh hes been paid a 3 million bonus already is only owed another 3 on the season - Ducks would be left paying 1.5 million in actual dollars if they were to retain 50%

Well Getzlaff is better and he is a 3C not a 2C. After 1 year he is probably forced to the wing with Henrique, Zegras and Steel as the top 3 centers
